I published the Mask of Africa book in 2005, and it sold out right away, and I have not taken the time to revise it and re-publish it. I know it can be a powerful book, but I have been too busy to finish correcting the errors Norbert Krapf pointed out to me. He's the Indiana State Poet Laueate now, and I'm delighted that he put in the time to go over the whole book line by line, word by word, and, with this excellent skills in poetry and in the German language, he was able to find perhaps thirty places where there were typographical arrors and other defects. I apologize for thrusting the book upon the public like that, but I was under severe physical, emotional, and financial stress, and time was not sufficient for proofing the book thoroughly before I published it.
Check with me, or e-mail me at louviere4444@yahoo.com if you have any questions about the book. It has some very nice photos and lots of good lines. The story, however, needs sequel, since the family it was about has dissolved into fragments. We have al gone our own ways. We generally keep in touch, but we live so far apart and some of us know better than to trespass on one another's turf, so we don't really come together any more. Sad, in a way, but life goes on.
